I'm confused when you say "tried this"?

Its a web magazine. Are you asking if we've tried a tip they suggested? If we've actually tried using linux? If we've actually tried reading an entire issue?

No dude....its a linux distribution. Very popular at the moment. I haven't tried it personally.

Could've fooled me from the main page. There's no link for "Screenshots" or "About" or "More Info".

Also, there's nothing on the main page about what makes PCLinuxOS different than the thousands of other Linux Distro's out there. The very first article is talking about the Web Magazine. There's nothing on the main page that tells me "PCLinuxOS is a linux distrobution".

I first thought it was a Linux Distro due to the name, PCLinuxOS, but as soon as I read the fist thing on the homepage "PCLinuxOS Magazine" I figured that was just a name of the magazine.

Take a look at:
http://linuxmint.com/
http://www.ubuntu.com/ (Very nice "What is Ubuntu" right in the middle of the screen.)
http://fedoraproject.org/ (Fedora is a .... right on the main page)
http://www.sabayonlinux.org/ (Tells you what Sabayon is on the main page)
http://www.debian.org/ (Tells you what Debian is on the main page.)

According to Distrowatch, PCLinuxOS pretty popular. I wish their homepage was a little clearer on exactly what it is and why is it different.

I was thinking the same thing about their home page. I read a bit on the distro and it looks really good but the page itself didn't really do anything for me - I probably would've mistaken it for a magazine myself if I hadn't read about it beforehand.
I'm thinking about installing Linux on my machine now once I've gotten a new one and if PCLinuxOS is as good as it seems to be then I think I'll go with it over Ubuntu.
