The documentary about Joe Dresnok, American Defector, is up on Piratebay, as is some other good stuff. Enjoy. (it's Crossing the Line, btw).

Wow that was the fastest download I've ever seen. 700MB in less than 4 minutes. I guess lots of seeds in Seoul..

If anyone has that other movie "North Korea: A day in the life" it'd be nice if they seeded it..

What was the name of the new documentary that aired last weekend on CNN about the family escaping to China? Anybody have a link?

Undercover in North Korea is available on google video; it's the one in which the U.S. news team tags along with the Nepalese eye doctor as he does 1000 cataract surgeries in Pyongyang.

Thanks for posting this up - I've been waiting for it for quite some time.

Edit: Odd, on the site it has seeders, but downloading it shows none.

Very interesting doco..
I rememeber seeing the jenkins 60minutes bit and after I heard his story I thought it might have been true. I mean it was the 60's they were the enermy so maybe they did get beatings by the koreans and have his tatoo removed my force.. then straight after that I heard a comment by dresnok saying jenkins was a lier. and I heard desnok was having a doco made of his life so I was VERY interested to see it..
well I have finally seen it and I must say! The koreans treated them VERY WELL ! I mean imagine how the south koreans would have treated the enermy, of the US, japanese.. the north koreans gave them money, gave them a house, wife, let them raise a family.. I mean come on!!!
I think jenkins was just a bitter man, and never really liked it there, its his own fault for going in the first place. I believe dresnok! but at the same time I am wondering if some of what he said was arranged by the North to make themselves out as not so bad. FACT is. I have never thought North korea is bad, and I get into heated arguments all the time with South koreans. I think the north is a like a poor family. just trying to make ends meat and live day to day! no country is perfect! but they seem far less worse than other places..

Dresnok seems happy in the north I mean where else is gonna go anway!
jenkins made a million dollars probably selling his stories to time, 60 minutes. Dresnok seems like a man who doesnt life change! and USA is the last place he would want to go.. the dresnok doco was made while jenkins was still in DPRK and after he left.. so whether or not this was a retaliation video to hit back at jenkins I dont really know..
still great to see more of North korea.
those 4 surely lived a unique life..
I wonder if they had ajosis go up to them and give them evil stares, abuse them on the street! wonder if their kids were teased or beaten in school? maybe not maybe everyone in the north live by the code! they are taught at a young age, the south like to call it brain washed..
maybe its educated to a healthy peaceful mindset!
would really like to know more about the north..

well like I said.. he is a tool or not? the jury is out on this..
still why did the north treat the soldiers so well all those years?
anby other country would have thrown them in a pit and left them there
so many questions are un answered about Kim Il sung and his visions
no country is perfect!
I believe generally the north korean dictators are a good people as koreans are. they have good hearts but at the same time can be ruthless
and the military formation shows they are ready to fight for their way of life! im sure North Koreans are patriotic as we all are..
its a confusing situation so much propaganda surrounds these two countries! still the north does need to sort out their stuff though..
I hope this meeting ROH has had with KJI will be the start of good things to come..

I will take my sauce to the grave with me

just call me the sanders of Italian sauce!

Typical Gourmand attitude...

Alright! No problem! I'll Pay-Pal you for the darn sauce. (No higher than 500k, though, eh, with no restrictions concerning it in terms of my family, friends, and the SEVERAL Italian restos back home in Beantown that have expressed interest in getting their grubby paws on your secret.)

Respectfully,

Moi
