I've been working in Pyeongchon at a small hagwon for nearly four months.
In my time here, I think I've only seen foreigners on ten-fifteen occassions. Lately I've been wondering why I don't see more around considering there are apparently hundreds in this area (there are many hagwons that employ foreigners, including big ones like Poly, Kid's Club, TOSS et cetera).
Does anyone here work in that area? What are the typical hours (I work 2:30-8:00pm, usually come in around 12:30pm)? Why doesn't anyone mingle, or make themselves visible on the main street?
Just curious. I'm not trying to make a slew of friends, but meeting a few new folk would be nice.

At first I thought you meant Pyeongchon, so I was going to tell you to come over to Beomgye station, land of bars.
Where is Pyeonchon? |

Yeah, I've been around Anyang a number of times. Seen many foreigners there, but they seemed cliquey/as was I.
I never see any foreigners actually out and about in Pyeongchon, its as if they work and leave without eating or doing anything else. |

Come over to Bomgye on a Friday or Saturday night. The Atlanta Bar is full of them. |

I see that you're easing into the local area with no substantial problems, eh? Besides some rowdy kids at your hoggie, you're on Easy Street.
Kiddo, God bless you and let's hope that your comparitively easy ride lasts for the duration, eh.
Sincerely,
