Ever buy socks from a sock truck or sock table that actually lasts more than 4 months? |

That's why they are so cheap. |

I buy mine from Orange Mart. They're heavy mountaineering type but the colors are ok for casual dresswear and perfect for cold days in your sandals at school. 3 pr for 10,000....nice quality! some are 2 pr for 10,000 but SUPER good quality so a bargain in my book.... |

Is there an Orange Mart in Masan?
I need some good winter socks for my sandals. |

^^I assume they are all around but I go to the one in Yong-in where I live. The socks are located on a big display table visible as you enter the store. Also, they have large size western label shoes/boots as well for extremely discounted prices. I picked up a nice pair of Columbia shoes (12 wide) that retail for 120,000 or so for 40,000... |

I must have really pointy big toes because they keep making holes in my socks. (I try to avert this by regular nail clipping, but this doesn't seem to work.)
Last week I went to a restaurant with some of my Korean buddies. After we removed our shoes and sat down, my friend and I noticed at the same time that a hole had developed in the right sock and my Fred Flintstone toe had made a cameo appearance.
He asked me "Are you poor?"
The mortification was awful. So I said "Shut up and pour me some soju." |

Spliff, this is certainly "putting your best foot forward!". I enjoy your sharing regarding the sock subject. Personally, having 2 feet, I simply swap back and forth over a period of 2 days and then wash. This really saves wear and tear around the "Big Toe" area. |

I did. They've lasted a year, and they, with the exception of one sock, don't look like they need to be replaced anytime soon |

Watch for a sale at HomePlus. 4 years ago they had a sale and mine are just now wearing out.
Also a helpful household tip: Throw out all your socks and buy all socks the same color and same style. You never have to spend time matching again. It's what I do. |

As for Caniff, try socks that fit. I bought 10 pairs in Beijing a couple years ago, they all have holes and I share my toes proudly here in Korea to this day. Four more years and it'll be like driving on bald tires! |

Since it was I talking about the big toe region specifically, I will assume you were referring to my post.
While we do have similar names, please don't confuse me with that bald, net tank-top-wearing freakazoid.
edit: just saw your next post. Disregard. |
