I'm originally from a suburb of Boston and lived in Cambridge and worked in Boston for a few years... I do love Boston, I don't know if I'd ever live there again. The public transportation and traffic drove me nuts, though I think they're trying to fix the public transportation system a little bit.
Are you planning on living/working in any specific area? Boston is a smaller city, it's possible to walk the length of the central business area in about an hour, but there are well defined neighborhoods still. And there are other cities around it that have to be included in the Boston Metro area, such as Cambridge, Quincy, Newton, etc.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. |

I understand the job market is not all that good, but it's a nice place to visit. As it goes in todays times, nice places are not great for money making or career starting, unless you're a business man with money to invest. |
