Note mine. I got it off another board from a Mugabe apologist.

The aid was withdrawn after Mugabe redistributed land to Black farmers out of the hands of White farmers.

Zimbabwe received IMF aid for many years and paid the loans at slightly slower than the rate they were supposed to be paying (even though the IMF allows this out of Eastern European countries all the time). After Mugabe redistributed land, the IMF almost overnight withdrew aid and force Zimbabwe to pay back the loans at a much faster rate, too fast for the struggling economy. To make matters worse, Western countries stop buying products from Zimbabwe.

Tell me, what was Mugabe supposed to do? He's already paying back money that doesn't exist.

Now let's see the real story:

The IMF claims its purpose is to, foster economic growth, promote high levels of employment and promote high exchange rate stability among other lofty claims. The institutions actions in Zimbabwe had the exact opposite consequences of intensifying the economic collapse characterized by sky-high inflation, high unemployment and a depreciating currency.

If colored people are in trouble, it's always their own fault and they deserve whatever trouble they are in. No one is saying Mugabe is a saint, but Zimbabwe's problems today are the result of Western vindictiveness after he took from capital-owning Whites and gave to landless Blacks.

That sentence should read "After he STOLE from capital-owing Whites...."

Many of Zimbabwe's problems are attributable to Mugabe's actions. Forcing experienced and knowledge farmers off their land and giving it to people who may or may not know anything about farming was not a bright move any way you spin it.
