| -If you wanted to study in Korea, for example get a Masters in TESOL, and you got a student visa, could you also get an E2 and work in Korea? I don't think you can have 2 visas at the same time, but I'm curious as to anyone whose done this. So how do you people studying here support yourself? |

If you qualify for an E2 you CAN add part time work as a teacher to your status of sojourn on a student visa. You will need to file the same documents as an E2 teacher (change or addition to your status of sojourn).
Alternatively, as a teacher with an E2 you can add post grad study to your status of sojourn as well.
Just file the application with the local immigration office.
