Go to immigration Monday morning at 8:45 p.m. BEFORE your employer does. Employers have been known to report employees as "runners" and make up various lies if they notify immigration first. Move out of your apartment tonight into a go-shi-won. They are relatively cheap. Some cost as little as 20,000 Korean Won per night. Immigrantion will ask you questions when you present your letter of release to them. If they ask, "How long do you plan to stay in Korea?" when they're writing your exit order, do not give them an answer beyond fourteen days. If you do, they will ask MORE questions. Exit orders are fourteen (14) days in length. Some immigration officers forget to stamp E2 Visas with "VOID" after they've written exit orders. Make sure the immigration officer stamps your E2 Visa with VOID if he or she forgets to.
