My school is having a festival in a few weeks, and I have to come up with an activity to do for 2 hours somehow related to English. It can be a game, making something, eating something... or whatever. My students are pretty low level.
I guess kids will come & go as they please, so I need something flexible. But what?! It's a chrysanthemum festival, so that doesn't really give me any ideas. Although of course it doesn't have to have anything to do with chrysanthemums. I've love to make something, but I can't think of any "English" crafts (English like the language, not the place! It can be from anywhere!). Help, please! |

Scavenger Hunt around the school grounds (could be for items or for english words). You can do an art project with the items they find for hte scavenger hunt. I did this during summer classes and tehy really liked it. Or you could have them come back and use a dictionary to find the english words meanings.
Or you could print up a whole bunch of puzzles, word searches, word scrambles, etc.
If the kids are going to be coming and going as the yplease with no real class "time" laid out, then there's not really an opporutnity to plan a lesson. |
