| hey, anyone have any experience with sling boxes? I am thinking of buying one before heading back over. Anyone have any opinions or advice in purchasing one? |

I have one and I couldn't live without it. It is fantastic. The greatest invention since sliced bread. Make sure you get the right one for what you want, cable, satellite, etc. And make sure you have a solid fast internet connection on both ends. Other than that you are good to go.
Also consider the time difference. You can buy a DVR to connect through, however they are expensive. The other option is to use recording software on this end, like At-Large Recorder.
