Yes. Stay away. They have a long history and none of it is good. |

Polonius may disagree with me but with the exception of the TOPIA branch he works at the rest seem to all have bad reputations.

I work at Topia currently, and have for 4 years. I work for the main brach, and not one of the franchises. As I am management, I won't sit here and praise the school or knock it down. All I would suggest is to speak with current teachers at the school. While I did work with Manlyboy, things can change over 2 or 3 years. Directors change, and policies change. So, while I can see why Manlyboy has a sour taste in his mouth, that was also 2.5 years ago, and things are certainly different.
My cousin worked in a Topia in Changwon, which was a franchise, and he had a horrid time of it. But like many people have said, schools are different from location to location. |
look at my post in this thread about talking to the current staff:

In regards to the New Zealand school - it is BAD and there has been NO IMPROVEMENT. |

| Tompatz is correct in that I disagree. If it is the Topia in Junggye or Deachi, talk to the current staff there. I would more than happily supply you with email addresses. If it is one of our Franchises, I have no say in what happens there. I will stand up for my 2 branches that are not franchised, as I have knowledge about their operations. If it is one of the Franchises, I really cannot comment, other than to say, talk to the foreign staff there. But I would suggest that you do that for no matter where you apply. |
