|
|
I really want to get a specific waffle maker for my stay in Korea, but I have to buy it from the US and have someone ship it to me. I don't know anything about transformers and stuff. Is that really hard to find, can I just use an adapter (i'm guessing not, that would be too easy), are they cheap? Any help on the subject/matter at hand, would be greatly apprecaiated. I'm just really missing my waffles. I won't even get into waffle mix and syrup right now. And if anyone has specifics on places to shop for transformers/adapters please post.
Thanks

| We brought over a George Foreman Grill and had to buy a power converter here. We bought it at a store called Homever for around $35. Plug the converter into the wall, the Foreman Grill into the converter, and grill away, or waffle away in your case. There are converters at many different stores and will be no problem finding and buying one. Good luck! |

| Do they have Homevers all around Korea. Just in case can you name another store that might have converters. Thanks. |

| There are tons of little mom and pop hardware stores. Bring your waffle maker and show it to them. Mime plugging it in. Odds are they'll have one. |

| Homever is everywhere, however, if you do not live near one there should be an Emart or Lotte Mart. These are the huge chains that are everywhere. |

| Thanks, everyone. I live in the country so I'll probably try one of the mom and pop stores first because I'd have to venture out to the big city for a Lotte or EMart. |
