| Does anyone have any info on applying for an f-3 visa? My fiance is coming to Korea and we plan to marry here and then go to Osaka to get his F-3 visa... any info would be appreciated! |

It depends on WHERE your future HUBBY is FROM and what YOUR visa status is.
A visa run will probably NOT be necessary for him. |

It depends on WHERE your future HUBBY is FROM and what YOUR visa status is.
A visa run will probably NOT be necessary for him. |

Is there a website where I can find that info out from...or a phone number in Korea? I am on a E-2 visa but my hubby is from Samoa (the Independent State of Samoa NOT American Samoa)... he can come to Korea as a tourist visa-free for 30 days so I was hoping to do the visa run then, but if its not needed then that would be even better!!! |

After you are LEGALLY wed and the marriage registered at your respective embassies he can simply apply for a "change in status of sojourn" from tourist to dependant family status. It will NOT require a visa run.
He will have to pay for the change (60k won) + a re-entry permit if you plan to take any trips out of the country afterward (50k won) and an ARC 10k won + passport sized photos (2 for the ARC and 1 for the status change application). He will also need his passport (good for longer than one year).
You will also need to provide proof of current employment (employment certificate from your employer as well as a copy of their business registration), your ARC and your passport.
