|

I couldn't find it this morning. Looks like they're doing some construction on that street where the KK used to be. Anyone know if it moved somewhere else in Myongdong? Or is it just closed down and gone for good? I know there's one in Lotte Dept store, but that one doesn't open till 10:30AM.
Thanks |

Thanks, it's been awhile - I was probably on the wrong street. |

Was hoping that it hadnt closed! Best donuts and my favorite Krispy Kreme store! Do they still give out a free iced donut while you wait?
If youre a little lost from Myongdong station, come out of the department store side exit take a left and walk straight down the long pedestrianised street past the Caf Pascucci and other Korean wonder when you hit the bottom of that street, hit a left (in the direction of the Lotte Dept store) and you should see it at your 2 oclock usually with a queue stretching out onto the street |

Is there a difference from Krispy Kreme to Krispy Kreme? There's probably another one ten minutes away. |

yes, they do still give out free glazed donuts. The "Hot. Now" sign was on so I had to stop and I got two hot, fresh donuts for the price of one. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised and savored every bite of the sugary goodness |

The one in Myongdong in the Lotte department store no longer hand out free samples while waiting in line. They put a sign up stating that if you first buy something, they will print a coupon for one free sample doughnut on your receipt which you can claim anytime.

I went with my girlfriend to a KK recently, we bought two coffees but the guy working there said since we only had one receipt we could have one donut. So, if we had ordered seperately we could have had 2 donuts. Has this happened to anyone else, or did the employee simply get it wrong? |

That's because of the hoards of Koreans that have abused the generosity of the company for the past 3-4 years. I stood behind 65 young students that weren't buying anything, and left the store as soon as they got their free donught. I'm glad they stopped handing out free dougnuts actually - I was thinking that those people don't deserve a free dougnut if they're not buying anything. |
