I must admit they do seem to have their sheet together when it comes to cellular/wireless and the internet. Now, how does all that equipment translate into leadership? Is all that equipment going to start making the decisions for them (a la H.A.L in Space Odyssey)?

It seems they are far more concerned about receiving their signals in tunnels than actually using any of it productively, let along progressively.

Kudos to their tech prowess, but are they leading the world into a situation where everyone is staring into a gadget instead of interacting with their fellow humans?

I have seen the future (on the Korean subways and buses).

Awesome! They use their cell phones in bathrooms that have unclean water.....NO hot water, they shit and have to throw the paper in trash cans because the sewer pipes are not strong enough, LEAD THE WAY, korea.

Why don't they try to make the infrastructure like Japan, nice, clean, Japan, my home forever Wink

The Korean Government throws a lot of advertising money at CNN.
Throw enough money around and you get a "special" on CNN.
By the way during the advertising for the South Korea special, they feature a collage of Korean technology. In that collage is a prominent picture of a FAN!
