So I have a Sebaceous cyst on my forehead, and I would like to get it removed. Does anyone know where I should go. Its a simple procedure, for a western doctor, but who knows what kind of whacky-ness would occur with a korean doctor Shocked . Any help would be much appreciated.

This really needs to be a sticky or in the FAQ. Maybe it is in the FAQ......

Severance Hospital next to Yonsei University. Go to their Intl. Clinic. You can't do better in Korea for Western medicine.

And you can't do better at being overcharged at this place either.

It is more expensive, but coming from the US, it's nothing. I'm glad to spend a bit extra and know I'm getting top-class service instead of hoodoo voodoo Korean medicine.

If anyone goes there, you can inquire about the prices before getting work done there.

Can you really put a value on your freaking face? I think if someone was chopping into me, I'd rather spend a bit more to ensure I come out still looking like a person.

Yes, they charge more, but they also cure you.

I had H pylori - not ONE Korean doctor thought to test me for it. Dr. Linton did. He cured me after two visits.

You should try Leejiham Skin Clinic. They are, perhaps, the top skin/plastic surgery clinic in Korea. The Apkujeong location had doctors who spoke English. They are affiliated with Yonsei somehow, as well.

Not sure if she's still there, but I saw Dr. Chung Hae-shin, and she was excellent. She studied in the USA and speaks excellent English.

Her e-mail is here, if she's still around: [email protected]

Chungdam Leejiham Skin Clinic: http://www.ljh.co.kr/clinic/?oCode=CD_S0

Phone numbers and locations are at the bottom of the web page.

She used to write skin care columns for the Korea Herald, as well. I have seen other doctors there, too.
