How do you get all of the american channels over there? Like all of them such as ESPN,ESPN 2, ABC, FOX, CBS...ect. I am a huge college football fan and have to have all of the channels. Is it expensive or hard to get? |

Is there a another way to watch games without Sling Box? I'm already here and thus can't set it up back home... |

I get Fox but it seems to always be showing some program about a lady who can see ghosts.
AFN has alot of American shows like American Dad, King of The Hill, David Letterman. Judge Judy 2 times a day!
Discovery
National Geographic
3 or 4 movie channels
There are several sports channels if you like soccer, baseball or mixed martial arts
CNN
MTV is mostly K-pop with a bit of Pimp My Ride
Olive shows a bunh of Tyra Banks shows and reality TV. |

So, you can set up basic Korean cable once you get over there in your American name? Also, can I get a land line (phone) in my name over there or should I opt for prepay? |

Don't get a TV and find other things to do like exploring cities, nature, reading and drinking around other people. It will change your life. You can watch all the important shows on the Internet and won't have your mind numbed by ads about Rush Cash and Minute Maid. |

You can watch a lot of the games on here http://www.myp2p.eu/
It's not always the best quality and you have to download the sopcast player, but it's better than nothing. |

There's also http://www.tv-links.co.uk/ for tv shows. They don't get up as soon as the torrent sites, but you don't have to download them to your hard drive. |

TVU Player (google it) has an almost constant CBS stream.
For NFL, we bought the Yahoo NFL Game Pass. You can watch any of hte games within 48 hours oftheir broadcast. Kind of fun, b/c we get a friend to tel lus which games were close, then watch the 2nd half of several games on Monday night. There might be a similar deal for college, but I'm not sure.
We watch most of our college games using either TVU player or Sopcast and the myp2p website someone mentioned earlier. Mainly we get to watch night games from home (morning games here). It's not too bad. |
