Penang was off the hook. Loved it, great food, interesting culture, colonial architecture. |

I love Malay food. Try Mee Swah (Fried noodle), Mee Goreng (Fried rice), Ice Kachang, satay, Nasi Lemak, Fish head curry. Beautiful, KL has some interesting sites such as The Petronas Towers, Batu Caves etc. Don't go to Johar Bahru near Singapore. It is quite rough and crime is high there. Check out the islands like Langkawi and Tioman. Also, Singapore is easy to get to and IMHO the food there is the best in Asia. |
