Land of the Lost is being made into a movie. Might suck. There was nothing quite as scary on '70s TV as a sleestak. I tell you.

Land of the Lost actually had a language mapped out for the pakuni people:

(I think Star Trek II pioneered the constructed language concept for movies.)

"When Pakuni speak the little English they know, they usually add an "ah" sound to the end of the word."

I think I might be teaching Pakunis.

Will Ferrell? As hokey as it was it was always a serious show. I don't think I want the comedy version.

The hissing sounds of the Sleestacks with the cloustophobic feeling of being lost in an underground tunnel really sent shivers up my spine.

The closest thing I've experienced to that was the movie
"The Decent". The creatures have a semi Gollum semi Sleestack look.
