I've heard that break dancing is very popular in Korea.
Has anyone here tried to learn it? Its damn hard, I found, I tried once while in college and failed miserably.
Are there break-dancing classes offered? I think I would like to have another crack at it when I get there |

I'm sure there are classes availible. Check around the university area for clubs or crews etc. That is where they are most likely to be. Can't see any clubs being started up near Childrens Grand Park cause that is where all the old people go. |

In this sentence "it" could mean anything. You could be talking about any number of different hobbies. Of course, if you try something once you're not going to be amazing at it. Did you expect to be spinning on your head by the end of the first lesson? |

Well, seeing as how the topic of this post is break dancing, there isn't a need to be more specific.
And when I said once I was implying over a period of time, not one singular attempt. |

*sigh* I swear...
My point was that ANY hobby you try only once is not going to go well. That's why it's a hobby... something you get better at as you go.

I'm gonna cut you some slack here, as you have a Simpsons reference as your Daves handle, but: once means "one time" not "multiple instance over a period of time." There's no situation where you would use the word "once" to describe multiple attempts at something over a period of time that involves more than one outing. |
