|
|
Hi,
I d/loaded some old style kids games in the rar format. They come bundled with several files like dll, ini, and some exe files as well as several yellow folders containing many more wav and bmp files. It's all a mishmash. I tried pasting it all in my NERO but NERO wouldn't read some of the files so didn't work. I tried all the exe files to set it up. At one stage one of the games did work but no sound and was very laggy and incomplete.
I wonder if because it seems like a CDRom there is something I should be doing. Should I save all the files as a bin?
There is one game with a part-title of ISO9660 but there is no ISO image if you know what I mean.
Any idea how to get the files going? I like using games like this all the time in classes on my laptop. Some are quite fun. Some are number games, spelling games, Ses. Street etc. They seem quite dated. Preceeding XP I think. Wonder if that is why the formatting is unusual.
Anyway, thought I'd throw it out there.... if anyone has a fix would be excellent. |
