Let's face it, talking about the superiority of your personal tastes in music, or TV or what have you is pretty much you going, "I'm such a product whore my personal identity is wrapped up with what I shop for. "
Sure, it's a reflection of the culture of mall-rats we all grew up with. But I figure this would be the perfect time for everyone to, instead of assuming that your particular form of being a product whore is superior, explain why this is so.

If the item's brand name reflects products that are simultaneously stylish, durable, and comfortable, then yes, my taste in that item is superior.
