I was reading the GEPIK website and I read this Q&A:
※CONTRACT RENEWAL※ Can a TTG(Teachers To Gyeonggi) renew the contract but transfer to a different school?
It's possible in case he/she has completed his/her first year service at the designated school.
Have you heard about anybody doing this? If this is true, I didn't even know it existed. Oh dear! Ahem....ahem. |

So basically the teacher will work again in the program but at a different school for the 2nd year? What's the problem with that? I would assume they'd let you do that unless you're a complete tool and they don't want you back.

I'm considering a transfer of school for my next contract, because if I transferred to another school in Gyeonggi, I hope that would mean I don't have to submit all of those diabolical documents again e.g. transcripts, degree etc.
If that is the case, then to save me the effort of using a recruiter, I'd prefer to transfer schools. |

| The last copy of the handbook I read said yes it was possible but no you COULD NOT keep the same visa and would have to start all over again. |

| also, I believe your pay wouldn't go up by 100K/m and you wouldn't get the extra 2 weeks leave for re-signing. |
