Anyone thinking about going to the Ssamzie Sound Festival this Saturday (wrong--it's Friday---I feel so foolish) at Ewha Women's University? I went to the festival two and three years ago and it was pretty good both years. Didn't make it last year. Two years ago 1000 won got you in and they gave you a half litre bottle of water and some fruit. Crying Nut was the headliner and there were some Japanese girl punk bands among others. I'm not sure who's playing this year but it definitely won't have any of those lipsynching dance robots that pass for popular music groups in Korea. If you are thinking about going perhaps some of us can hook up. If it turns out to be not so good it's small change and Ewha is so close to Shinchon and Hongde. I think the festival starts at 2 in the afternoon and goes into the evening. Might be a good way to get the night off to a flying start.
