|
|
So, I'm goin back home (New Jersey) for christmas. And I'm thinking of picking up a X-Box 360.
What do you think the prices will be? I'm sure they'll drop the price for Christmas right?
Should I get it at christmas or wait till after the new year?
Or Should I get the xbox 360 here in korea, cause Im really itching to play halo 3.
What do you think? we should do some kind of pool to guess what the price drop might be. So far they only dropped 50 bucks. I'm hoping they'll drop by atleast 100 dollars by than! maybe to 250 for the premium! |

Premium will probably be around $300. The Elite will take the Premium's spot in the $400 price range.
Microsoft will only lower prices to keep the 360 cheaper than the PS3. |

Yea but the premium is 350 now. You think they'll only lower another 50 dollars? The elite is 450 right now. I would so buy the elite or the premium if either of them went down a 100 dolalrs. |

Why would you take an NTSC-J or Asian back to the states when it won't play any of the region locked games there? |

He was gonna pick up a US 360 when he went home for christmas.
I doubt 360 prices are gonna drop. Especially since they are selling really well due to Halo 3. |

I don't see a drop happening. Drops usually happen after the holiday season is over. Drops usually happen during big announcement periods like in February-April when conventions and such are happening. Since the Xbox fills a differen niche than Nintendo, it's only competition in and apples to apples sort of way is the PS3. I wonder if Microsoft is playing tag with Sony, waiting to see what Sony does in the coming months. If the PS3 drops again, I'm pretty sure the Xbox will follow suit. |
