I'm headed to Gangbyeon tomorrow night. Does anyone know of any good love motels or decent, affordable places to stay around that area? I've never been to that part of Seoul, so I have no idea. Any information would be much appreciated.

It's getting you to it that would be the problem.

When I used to live around that area, they built a new place next to my old school. I forget the name, but to get to it, find Technomart, and stand at the front door. Walk straight about 30m to the street. You'll be facing a big empty lot, which is across the street, and some tall apartments. Turn right (North) and walk down that sidewalk for maybe 400m until you reach the bridge/intersection. Turn left and cross that street. Keep going that direction (West) for another 100 or 200m, and you'll eventually pass a big metal boat restaurant, which will be on your right. Don't go to the boat, though... just a point of reference. Keep going straight across the street (still heading West), and there is a Pizza Hut. Keep walking another 200m maybe, and you'll see that newer yagwon on your left. It's a black marble place, and there used to be a boshingtan restaurant next to it.
