Well, that's nice.
There hasn't been a hell of a lot I've wanted or been to see this year - and I have a brother who manages a cinema, so my tickets are free.
It has nothing to do with who is in the lead, and more to do with the fact studios seem to be making a lot of boring rubbish these days.

I would place most of the blame on the directors, and screenwriters, not all completely on the actresses.
I wonder how long this will last. He's bound to take some heat for it. |

It wasn't until this was brought up that I realized the difference in numbers between films with male leads and those with female leads. |
The key to the whole article.
Blame the audience. |

It's like Hello??
Stop green lighting projects with crappy scripts.
I mean the Invasion was a stinker. I could tell from the commercials. They should stop paying however thought that movie was a good idea |

People are sick of feminism, and what it's now associated with. Plain and simple. It's something that's going out of style. It's old now. People are just tired of "I am woman, here me roar," and a lot of women woke up recently and started saying, "Hey, I WANT to be sexy. I want to attract men. I want to be a woman -- not a man -- and i'm proud of it."
They feel they can be a woman and still be strong. They don't have to become a lesbian. |

Oh a lesbian! So that's what being a feminist means!
