According to my main co-teacher/handler (I have seven co-teachers), due to a directive from the Ministry of Education, my public middle school 'streamed' all my students based on exam results, i.e. they took the top 50% of two classes and the bottom 50% of two classes (in each grade) and made 'high level' and a 'low level' classes.

However, they neglected to tell me until after the fact.

Considering that all my lessons (hopefully) follow a logical sequence of development - vocabulary, syntax and grammar - this presents more than a few problems. Now, due to scheduling differences (holidays, field trips, sports days, exams etc.) half of all the students in each of my classes may have 'had' me as many as nine times, and the other half as few as zero.Rolling Eyes
