That's great, but my students already know both words. Too well...
Have you found anything useful for a conversation class? Now that my school has unblocked youtube I can use it in class again, but I never find anything worthwhile. |

Calypso,
I collect a lot of videos from educational websites like teachertube and learner.org etc....
Check out the two Videos for classrooms buttons on my Batcave www.ddd.batcave.net Link below. Lots there for conversation. You might even use some videos from the prof. development folder also...
We also have many videos here http://eflclassroom.ning.com/video

Hi iii,
DD does have a lot of fascinating stuff on his site. Definitely check it out! Relating to Youtube, it really all depends on what interests your students. I tend to use different things such as animal videos, extreme sports, etc. It's kind of ironic that you ask me this because in this quarter's issue of TEC, I have an article coming out on how to use this kind of media in the classroom.
Seriously, it's one of the best ways to get your kids engaged in class. AND....you can use it for all levels!
Hope this helps. |
