So as I understand it the majority (or all?) of the places on One Room are infact NOT readily available. However that doesn't mean they don't exist at all, right? I'd just need to contact the agents themselves and look for a place. I've noticed lots of fully furnished pads on the website charging no Key Money and just a slightly expensive but acceptable monthly rent (average around 50 manwon).
Are these places genuine? Do they actually exist, and have you ever been successful through One Room? So many places seem complete trash for extortionate prices, whereas many seem like bargains. |

Ive never had much luck with One Room for the same reason that most places that are advertised are not actually available.
Some Korean friends helped me find a place last time I needed to move. They used a few other sites that had much more accurate, current listings. I can't remember which sites they used.
If anyone does know some better realestate sites please speak up. |

I contacted two brokers through Oneroom.com and looked at several places...when pressed, they both outright admitted that the rooms advertised on the website are not available and were never available to begin with...they are literally just for show! And those prices? Ha! Trust me, there are no bargains through these guys. I did get shown a really crappy one room somewhere in Gangnam for about 350,000 a month but it was a total shithole. Everything else that was decent was officetels that started at 700,000 + maintenance fees. But of course, I was only looking in the Gangnam area at the time. Good luck. |
