Hi there,

I really want an extension on my contract for a month to take me to Christmas when I will go home.

I am at a public elementary school, but I dont know how possible it will be with the E-2 visa?

any one done it, is it possible?

It's absolutely possible. You will need a copy of the new contract from your school (with the new end date) and a few other papers. You take them to immigration, pay a fee, and voila. If you can work it out with your school and your housing, then there should really be no problem.
