Is there a quick & easy way to convert Hangul to English, in the main & drop down menus, on personal computers here?

Last year, I had to arrange purchase of an English version of microsoft word. But I've seen backpackers change text from Korean, to English, to Japanese, to French, & back again. I just dont know how they do it. If the text was in English, maybe I could figure it out? A quick google search didn't find much. Any help would be appreciated. I was partly successful, & changed some bits to English (text services & input languages), but not the menus.

But I couldn't figure out the way to change the menu or subprogram hyperlinks

eg the top text menu line of this image, in Korean:

Obviously, I didn't major in computer technology. Crying or Very sad

IF you are using XP AND you have the Korean version of windows installed you CANNOT change your windows drop down menus to English without getting and installing an English version of windows.

If you want English menus in your MS-word, you will have to acquire an ENGLISH version of office.

You can change English windows to other languages but NOT change others (non-roman alphanumeric languages) to English.

You CAN change the IME to any language you desire.

IF you are using Vista (ultimate) - you can change menu languages.

Thanks ttompatz. Looks like a trip to Daegu, one Saturday, for a couple of English version cd's. What's IME, & how do you change it?

Eyeball kid: thats a great link to learn hangul & transliterate text.

If those screen shots were from your computer you already have korean, english and russian IMEs ( Input method editor(s), a type of program (part of windows) for inputting complex characters) installed.
