I'm a Canadian reporter looking for anyone who may have known Christopher Neil or who had talked to Interpol about him.
I work for The Canadian Press, the national news agency and affiliated with Associated Press. We go across Canada and around the world via AP.
We're staked out at Neil's house and at the place where he went to seminary, but we're especially looking for anyone who knew him while he taught overseas.
Kermo. You seem to have been pivotal in tipping Interpol to him. I'd love to hear from you.
thanks. |

Why don't you bloodsuckers leave his poor family alone? There's plenty you can find out just by reading this board. |

She's busy at the moment. As her manager, I'd like to know what your monetary offers are for face to face interviews. We're currently entertaining offers from all the major news orgs (Larry King is scheduled for next week), please also include business class airfare and compensation for time lost at her company in your offer.
Thanks in advance. Feel free to pm me.

Going after Neil is fine, but why are you persecuting his family as well. They didn't do anything.

I agree. Why the hell would you be staking out his house? HE'S OBVIOUSLY NOT THERE.
My 2 cents: His family has already made a statement to the press saying they're devastated--as any family would be in this situation.
Leave them alone to reel in horror over this WITHOUT you idiots running to shove microphones into their faces every time they have to leave their house.
I'm SO not impressed with you types.
Users, it's up to you if you want to talk to this "reporter", but frankly I wouldn't feed the curbside frenzy being generated for the Neil family at the moment. |

Besides, they're famous for printing things out of context and twisting them around to suit the more "lurid" aspects of a story--Sells papers right? |
Fair enough about the family bit. I'd frankly rather not harrass them. That's why I'd rather talk to you. Then I don't have to bug them. And we've left the doorstep.
Most of the information that's circulating on this site comes from people like me. And you all found out about it from people like me -- the seminary bit, the comment from the brother about the horror of the family.
We're just trying to get an idea of who this guy is. The more information, the more likely someone somewhere will come forward with more about his life, his activies and maybe more offences. |

I suppose we'll have to take your word on that won't we?
Excuse my cynicism but I've lived with a reporter.
Anyways, good luck and try not to invade/crush the shrubbery too much.
Thailand is beautiful this time of year. |

That's an understatement.
Families of suspected criminals, especially crimes like the ones he is accused of, are also victims. That is something reporters and the rest of society sadly forgets, or simply choses to ignore in order to satisfy our thirst for sensationalism. |

But, in his/her defense, he/she is just doing his/her job. He/She was sent there by the editor/bureau chief. It's probably not his/her choice to be there. He/She wouldn't be there in the first place if the public wasn't interested in every sordid detail, and as such we collectively share part of the blame for the victimization of his family. |

Yeah, obviously his family aren't having a horrible enough time at the moment finding out that their son/brother is a pedophile, you guys thought you'd make it that much worse by camping outside their house just so that the worst days of their lives are in full display for the public to see.

Yeah, you've backed up 15 yards onto the front lawn, how noble of you.
Sure, go after the story but leave the family alone, they're suffering enough at the moment. |
