Can you get those bulbs which give off that slightly blue tinted light sold as natural light or day light bulbs in Korea?
Any idea of where and what the cost is? |

You need something call sodium halide or metal halide. One is best for flowering and the other for vegetaion stages. They give off alot of heat so you'll need a cooling fan. |

Nah mate, don't want to grow tomatoes, just want to get rid of the glare of the floursecents in my shoe box.
I used to have what were sold as day light strip lights in my house in the UK in the kitchen. They were a lot nicer to use, pleasant on the eyes.
With the onset of winter I am worried about getting SAD so thought it would be nice to lighten my room up a bit. |

The white and yellow fluorescent tubes are readily available. You could try mixing and matching them. That's what I do. It reduces the glare and seems to produce a more natural light. |
