|
|
Next week I'll be taking a group of mostly uni students out to Itaewon for a meal and drinks as part of a special class. Have to pass up on Indian food (as another teacher is planning this) but not sure where to go. There'll be about 15 students so a place will need to be booked. I'd like to have Thai Food but Thai Orchid perhaps might be a little expensive. I'm thinking of somewhere with good food, seating, and meals no more than 10,000. (after dinner we'll go get drunk!)
Any suggestions where to eat? |

Everything is more than 10,000 won a person, if you're going to be eating foreign food. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's been my experience,at least. |

Go to Taco Time just near Noksapyeong Station. Meals should be around 8000-10000 won a piece (this is including drinks). |

If they can't afford at least 15,000 won - and it's not too large a group - I suggest going to Pita Time for hummus or falafel wraps - or pita bread pizza (which isn't as good as their wraps ...) |

thanks for the responses ! i'm considering going to the aussie shop especially as they now have seating and it's cheap. i've been to pita time a few times and would never step foot there again - they're completely clueless about falafel and extremely overpriced for what they sell! Taco Family is much nicer than the Noksapyeong place but they don't have the room.
Anyone been to Mai Tai? the Thai place near the Hamilton Hotel? How much for a stanmdard meal? Do they have lots of room? |

15 students might not fit in there, though. There's like 2 tables. |

Oooh great idea. Pita Time is fantastic. And they've most likely never had one.
Drop the sneaky vegetarian suggestions, though. There's no way a FALAFEL pita is as good as club, steak and cheese, or chicken. |
