I thought this was interesting:

Car Show Girls: the Hard Slog Behind the Glamour
http://english.chosun.com/w21data/html/news/200710/200710160022.html

While I'm at it, I might as well link to the best collection of Racing Car Girls I've ever seen too:

Actually, 'Racing Car Girls Shooting Pool' is TV at its finest.

Please tell me if something is wrong with me.

I don't think these girls are hot. There are a grand total of 0 racing girls that I have an attraction for. I have been to Seoul Motor Show in an official capacity and it was my job to take pictures of the cars and the girls. I and my colleagues produced about 50 megabytes of racing girl photos. And when I went through them I never once wanted to pause over any photo.

Something is wrong with these girls. They have all the trappings of hottieness - the miniskirt, the makeup, the poses. But its just not good enough.

Its not like I'm a prude. I have a long history of ogling photos of beautiful women, and I've taken some good photos myself. There are many women's photos that do it for me. These girls just don't. And I don't know why.

Ha, that title reminds me of something you'd see on Conan O'Brien, like the "Inappropriate Response Channel" or "Hot Sauce Tasting Network."

Saw that for the first time last night. Absolutely brilliant. They should have an entire network dedicated to that and TVNgels.

Nice face, slim body are great, BUT to be a super hottie, requires something these girls just don't have. Big Boobies. Attractive yes, super hottie, No.

I agree, they just don't seem that hot to me either...i think a lot of them having their faces made over with plastic is a problem, doesn't look natural...however to koreans which see that kind of face as an ideal of beauty it is attractive to them.

Also, a lot of the girls are the ones trying to make it big into the first level of the entertainment world but due to whatever reason didn't or will not get there and maybe them just quite not having the facial look is a reason....

This is a reasonable substitute world for them to show their vanity i would feel and they know they only have a shelf life of a few years max so they each try to outdo each other.....

Some of the bodies are pretty nice though.....

I feel sorry for them, the female in Korea i feel is just tossed away once they hit their upper 20s and early thirties.

Even qualified Korean women have hard time getting a job if they are at the old age of 27.

I see no reason to feel sorry for them,I really doubt they feel marginalised getting dolled up for the cameras. It's a foray into modelling. If it doesn't work out, they need a plan B.If this is their only roll of the dice, though, then it's quite pitiful-like someone whose sole plan is to become a flight attendant and is constantly turned down.

It might take off,it might not.I still see cardboard cut-outs of Chae Yeon promoting motor oil in Homever,E Mart et al.

In pictures they really score a high tranny factor. In real life they look like mannequins.

Tranny Factor? That's pretty harsh.I could imagine them looking like mannequins in real-life though. Not many of them look naturally sexy. When they try to sex it up they look like girls playing dress-up.

I don't know, there's just something that looks wrong when Korean women try too hard to look beautiful. They look much nicer with a natural look, no plastic surgery, no fancy hairdo, and no gender reassignment surgery.

I love the Racing Girl's Billiard Commercial when it says, "1% sexy" -- whatever that means?!!?!?
