I've heard that the next exam period for middle school students begins around the beginning of December and that it may last til the third week. Also heard that they officially start studying for it around November 24. Is that true?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

Since when was there an official date where they start studying for finals exams? Some of the students are already studying for final exams and high school entrance exams, even though the exams are in December. |

some of my kids told me that it starts around dec. 19 for a few days... why would the exams last til the 3rd week? usually kids are stuck in review for about a week before the exam, so many classes are cancelled in that time. hope that helps! |

| In my middle school the 1st & 2nd-graders write their finals the first week of december. The 3rd-graders have theirs the last week of this month into the first week of november. Theyre earlier for purposes of applying to high schools. |

when did yr kids write their midterms? mine just finished after chuseok, would kids be tested again after only 1month? |

my midterms were a bit later, i think i'm going to check with my kids again about their finals. do kids apply to technical high schools at the same time as regular high schools? |

I expect so. Some of the lower-end students would want to see their exam results to see if they had a shot at making it into an academic high school.
Kids applying for specialty high schools (science, foreign language, music, etc) have already done so. |
