Not a big deal in the sense that there have been way too many threads about this guy on the boards already. Yeah he's fucked up and what he did was wrong, but damn hoping we got something better to talk about. Woah he taught in Korea too!
Big news day |

Here's the story from A.P.:
| Quote: |
BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) -- A Canadian schoolteacher suspected of pedophilia was arrested Friday in northeastern Thailand after an international manhunt that included the release of his unscrambled Internet photos to the public.
The suspect, 32-year-old Christopher Paul Neil, had been hiding in the town of a Thai friend who used to arrange some of his sexual liaisons with boys, police said...
"Bingo! We've got him," police Maj. Gen. Wimol Powintara told The Associated Press...
Shortly before the arrest, Wimol told the AP that police rushed to the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima on Thursday night after receiving credible information that Neil had fled there.
Residents said they had spotted the Canadian near the home of a Thai man who police say had helped Neil to meet young boys in the past, Wimol said... |

Gotta love beer in the morning! I remember visiting my Thai friend's family in the Northeast of the country. They are farmers and rise early. It really isn't too easy to sleep in past eight, what with the roosters crowing and the old ladies yacking.
Got offered my first breakfast beer of my life (Chang, no less, for those who know that wicked concoction). Damn near drank them outa the stuff, all before 10 in the morning. Breakfast was sparse, just sticky rice and an assortment of super spicy Issan dishes. And beer.
Damn knackered I was! Beer in the morning...oh yeah. |

Yea! What's up with that?
Reuters is a piece of doo doo. To relate this with my real life experience with Reuters. I interviewed for a job with them in one of their corporate cubicle offices and it was the most hostile and intimidating job interview I have ever seen. I ran like the wind despite being offer this job doing Wall street financials data with 3 monitors on one computer.
They are corrupt big business. |

I wonder if Neil's Thai pimp friend will be arrested too? I somehow doubt it. |
