Take a bus to City Hall and then hop on the subway. I would suggest the 940_ buses, or the 1005-_ buses. Another way is just bus it to Gangnam and then hop on the subway. But if you share my disdain the rails, take the first option. |

You should take 5005-1 which stops in Jeongja, Seohyun stations and get off at City Hall. Then it's a short bus ride to hongdae. Without traffic, the bus ride is about 35-40 minutes. But WITH traffic, it can take as long as hour and a half plus:( Good luck. |

It depends on where in Bundang you are.
As stated above the 9401, 1005-1, 9000, 9001 (among many others) will get you to the area of city hall in 30-40 minutes. (they will also get you to Itaewon in 20-30). They all go past Seohyun station (last stop before the expressway) but they come from different areas in Bundang.
You can also take the subway (yellow line to green line or pink to green (again depending on where you are)) but it is slower than a turtle.
If you are in Bundang-dong (as compared to other places in Bundang-gu) the best bet is just bus it into downtown. |

Don't forget to bring your fake degree to Hongdae. Once you get there, chase women. I don't care if you are a girl, that's what foreigners do, just comply. |

fastest way
take the 9401, 9000, 9001 or 5500-1. the other buses like 1005-1 go through yangjae and gangnam 1st and take longer.
get off at the second stop after the expressway, the first one after the tunnel.
walk down the street in the same direction the bus was going for a couple blocks. theres an underground and follow the signs to the subway. it's on the green line eujiro 1 ga or 3 ga.
take the subway into hongdae. you miss all the traffic you'd otherwise hit by taking a bus once you get into seoul. |
