If there's anybody out there who lives in Jeongja (especially the area right around Jeongja Station) and you wouldn't mind helping out a new guy to the neighborhood (or would just like to make a friend), please PM me (somehow my account on Dave's got reset and I can't send out PMs; not sure what happened). Particularly if there are any regular foreigner hangouts or a group of people that get together regularly, that'd be great. I also have a wife who's Korean and a 1.5 month old daughter, so any young marrieds with young kids would be great; I like getting together with just about anyone, though. Thanks!

You're talking about Jeongja in Bundang, right? There's a big hakwon near there called SLI with 10 or 12 foreigners living next to it. There are some hangouts all around that area, but of course its hit or miss as to whether anyone will be there for you to run into. You might just go out to eat at some of the local places and eventually you're bound to run into some people who live there. |

jungja's an expensive place to hangout. best to either go to miguem or sunea (one subway stop either direction). there are always random foreigners hangingout at the sunea wa bar. or you can go to seohyun (2 stops away) and hit the foreigner bars there, either dublin bar or monkey beach.
there are an absolute ridiculous number of esl teachers living in paragon, so if you happen to be one of them youre bound to run into some other expats.
short of that shoot me an email and i'll show ya around
