I guess with the Canadian dollar now north of the US dollar, people are wondering why retailers aren't lowering prices. Finance Minister Jim Flaherty suggested consumers need to complain more. Although we won't. We do the better thing. We skip across the border. Canadians always protest with their feet, not their mouths. |

hey i wonder if the mexicans are doing more shopping north of the border now?! |

The border states tend to go through boom/bust, as Canadian communities do. For a few years Canadians all head south. Then a few years later Americans all head north. Let's not even talk about the boom Florida is going to experience this winter. |

Friday I read that Walmart and.... Zeller's (maybe?).... were going to lower their prices. |
