http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/200702/kt2007022617465710220.htm
apparently the same liquids/gels policies that apply to flights in the US is going into effect in Korea as of Thurs and not just on US carriers or flights to the US
time to pack that toothpaste and shampoo in your checked bag |

I pack listerine in my carry-on mainly due to weight issues....if i buy 5 or 6 bottles while i am overseas that can add a fair bit of weaight to check-in baggage so i carry it.
however, i just learned that you can buy listerine as of last week at Emart so looks like i won't need to worry any more |

The regulated products include liquor, beverage, perfume, lotion, cosmetics, shampoo, toothpaste, hair gel, hair spray, insecticide and red pepper paste.
Travelers should seal such items in transparent plastic bags. Passengers will each be allowed one plastic bag. |
WTF...so we CAN bring red pepper paste and insecticide on the plane, as long are they are in sealed transparent plastic bags??? |

Screw the dirty terrorists who never fly unless they plan to blow themselves up! Probably never were any "liquid bombs"...they were just jealous of those who actually travel for fun.
Maybe I should arrive at the airport 5 hours early...
Does anyone know WHY the stuff has to be in clear plastic bags...can't the bloody X-ray machines see through ANY bag??
Travelling is becoming a bloody nuisance... |

1) in case their luggage is lost
2) in case they're lucky enough that they have no luggage besides that backpack or little black suitcase that fits in the overhead compartment |

bingo!!! half of the time i travel, i ONLY have a carry on, that way when i arrive, i am off, dont have to wait for luggage, and usually can clear through customs pretty quick.
if you are going somewhere for a week, how much do you really need to bring? a couple shirts, underwear, and toothbrush, it really isnt that much. |

| There are few, if any, non-government-sposored terrorists. ALL the airport b.s. is designed to terrorize you. Wake up! This is all about establishing a universal control grid. |
