You can find almost any electronics store on the street. You can go to Yongsan station's electronics mart. You can go to Lotte Mart, HomePlus, Emart or other big dept. stores.
Since it's a laptop, you shouldn't need a voltage converter, just the 500 won adapter. You didn't plan for this before moving to Korea? |

Another option is to buy another cord which moves from the box to the power point .... but with the Korean plug on the end ... This will only cost around 4,000 won ... Or at least that is what it cost me at Technomart a couple of weeks ago ... I had left both of my normal adapter plugs at school by accident one weekend and thought it was going to be "easy" to buy another one to get me through ... but simply could not find one ... looking in some of the "right" places ... but I did remember that it was possible to buy the power cord and did get one easily at Technomart. So get which ever one ends up being easiest for you to find ... Which may depend on where you are ... To successfully buy the cord ... without using any English ... all I needed was my current cord ... I asked in a shop which had a lot of different cords (even though I couldn't see what I wanted) ... They simply went out the back and came back with the cord I needed ... for just 4,000 won ... One way of the other it won't be too hard ... I was actually more suprised at how hard it was to find a normal adapter plug ...
