For serious now...

Next week will be the last 4 day weekend I have in a while. I'm thinking it's time to get that vasectomy I've wanted since I was 17.

So, I am asking for some simple advice from those who have had this procedure done in Korea.

Where? When? Price? Amount of pain? Regrets? Anything at all relevant, please.

If you want to be modest about the whole deal, please PM me.

Thanks.

I'd wager you can get it done at any urology clinic. They're everywhere. The Korean is 비뇨기과 I think.

As a part time surgeon, I can offer this operation from my home at a very reasonable price.

Just say you're a pedophile and there'll be plenty more people offering to perform the operation.

Wouldn't castration and penectomy be the better procedure for pedophiles?

I think I'd prefer to go to a hospital rather than a clinic. I'm specifically thinking of going to Seoul National University Hospital. Has anyone had the procedure done there?

Please help. Thanks again.

The hospital down the hill in Itaewon is the place I'd recommend. They have English-speaking staff, and were quite professional about the whole deal.

I think I paid around 120,000. Pain? of course. I had myself ensconced in my little bed-slash-fortress of fun after the procedure: dvds, ps2, books, food, etc. Everything was arm's length so it helped limit my walking around. A friend was able to stop by everyday to make sure I didn't need help with anything. I was able to stay off my feet for 4 days and just recover. Afterwards, walking was a bit awkward but that was temporary, too. I did mine over a Sollal weekend, so I didn't even miss a day of work.

Oh, get lots of frozen peas. You'll need them.

OH GOD!

Thinking of the snip myself. Got two kids. The permanence scares me, though. But so does using condoms and foams for years and years. I'm just imagining being a widower in my seventies and wanting to impregnate my newfound hot twenty something wife, but remembering the old snip snip when I was her age....

I had it done in Incheon about three years ago. Not much pain...was up and about the same day. I didn't take any time off work. It was cheap then...it was only about 40k...but now I think it is more. I had it done when I was still subsidized by the government.

It's not that difficult to reverse a vasectomy. It's almost impossible to reverse a tube tying.

Yeah, but most doctors suggest both should be viewed as being irreversible.

Sure it is. Reversals are not guaranteed to work.

I just have to ask this out of curiosity and outright ignorance...

I've heard in the past that after the operation the sensation of ejaculation is enhanced. Is this an urban legend or a fact?
