I'm in Chuncheon and heading into Seoul this weekend. Can anyone help me out with where I might find the following items:
Wheatgerm
Soy Protein Powder
Flaxseed
Wholewheat flour
Also, interested in a used oven/toaster oven. Looking for a decent one one of the bigger ones that run ~500,000 won new in the appliance stores.
Any information anyone can provided will be helpful in making my trip a productive one. |

You can get wheat germ and whole wheat flour at Kim's Club in the basement of New Core Outlet by the Express Bus Terminal and probably at other Kim's Club locations. You might be able to get the flax seed there, too.
I saw soy protien powder at The Wellbeing Store (many locations), the Foriegn Food Market in Iteawon, and I think at SM Ching Hia restaurant.
You should probably repost this question on the Seoul Veggie Club http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=11299200065 site or http://seoulveggieclub.wordpress.com/ or the Off-Topic Forum to get more answers.
Best of luck to you! |

I know, the weekends over, but if you didn't find an oven this trip, I bought a great countertop convection oven (holds a 12" round pizza) at Costco. Brand new around 150,000 won. It comes with 2 racks, 2 rectangle pans and a pizza pan. I know they still sell them. I bought mine 2 years ago and I still love it! |
