|
|
I bought a computer recently and it had Vista business on it and I am trying to get it to run several of my programs and it won't. I also loads very very slowly (even with the bugger "gadgets" off).
I use firefox, and I would use Lineux too if I knew that it too didn't have any problems running the myriad of programs that I like to use, but for now, I will settle with the ole XP. Some of the programs are starting to be updated so that the patched versions do work on Vista, but the updates are coming too slow.
I heard that the free rollback can be done, so that I can get a legit version of the official Windows XP. If true, anyone know what I can do to get it?
Sorry if this got asked already. If already asked, I would appreciate just a link to that thread. I just want the answer, after all.
Thanks a million! |

Some of the larger "vendors" such as HP and DELL have made arrangements for rollbacks but there was a small fee (around $20-40) associated with it.

Download your preferred version of XP and do a fresh install. |
