Does anyone know where a person could have their laptop checked out? I think mine is on the verge of dying but it just might be something fixable. I need it checked out and cleaned anywhere near Jamsil/Hanam/or even Yongsan would be welcome. An English speaking fixit person would be even better, though probably a pipe-dream.

try jonny computer....just behind hollywood grill in Iteawon, he speaks prefect English. He charges 30,000 won for a diagnostic test. and he'll give you a quote on the full repair price before he completes the work

Depending on what brand it is, there's an Hp service center in Yongsan that helped me out a little while ago and they were great. It's in the terminal building, across the skybridge. It's well signposted, just keep walking past all the cell phone stalls.

There are a couple laptop repair, refurbish, resell places in the Son-in plaza of Yongsan market.

It is located across the rail yard from Yongsan station.

If you are standing on the mezzanine of Yongsan station, looking over the rail yard, you will see the big blue building. That is the terminal building. To the right of that you will see a building with a big Gigabyte sign on it. That is the son-in plaza.
