Does anyone else around here have that sort of set up?

I've been working on getting footage of my students onto the class blog, so they can review themselves. They've been learning to relax and speak naturally while filming each other with the new Song HDD Handycam, and I've figured out how to get the clips from the camera to the computer.

... Now, I need to convert the 'film' from huge-sized handycam clips to YouTube/ blog sized, while maintaining or even enhancing audio quality.

Has anyone else got experience or tips on how to achieve this?

I'm having trouble getting MS WMM working properly. Is this one of the famous new Vista OS problems? (I've just got the webcam issue sorted out... i hope!).

Any hints, tips or ideas gladly welcomed.
