I've been a member of Dave's International board for years. I've contributed thoughtfully and diligently. As I have here.

Today without any notification, my account was pulled. Not a peep about it, just deleted entries.

What did I do? I let teachers know about a resource I spent hours on, free, for their benefit. I posted about it on several different country messageboards.

Here's the link. http://eflclassroom.ning.com/page/page/show?id=826870%3APage%3A10770

Did I do something wrong?

I think one thing must be explained to whoever pulled my plug -- we are the site, the content, the resources. I for one, won't be owned. End of discussion for me. Please read my signature....

Have you considered sending a letter to Dave Sperling? I did back in 2004 and he answered me promptly.

He's a busy guy but you may be fortunate and hear from him within a couple of days.

That's ridiculous.

One of the reasons why I don't use the International forum much---and why I never check the teachers' forums anymore---is because every other post turns into a chance for somebody to advertise their own blog. Have a question about kindergarten? Look at my site. Need worksheets? Look at my site. Wondering about where to go in Taipei? Visit my site. I can't be bothered to look over there anymore (and it doesn't help that I need to register ANOTHER ID to use those forums).

If they took you out, they need to ban just about everybody else over there, too. Have there been a lot of pulled threads and answers, then? If it's not consistent, it's horrible, and it's too bad the other teachers won't be able to benefit from your site.
