Way back in March, I passed a Chili's on the way to school from a field trip at the Samsung Children's Museum. Now, I've been pretty busy since then what with my husband's surgery, radiation therapy, a robbery, misc school functions and the rest of my life so I didn't get around to looking for it again until today and I can't seem to locate it. It seems like it must have been close to Jamsil station. Is there one? Did my fevered mind make it up? Anyone have any ideas? |

My Korean gf lives in that neighborhood, and told me some time ago that the Chili's in Jamsil closed down. Sorry for the news. |

Nope, when at On the Border a couple of weeks ago, the person from Dallas who was training the staff said they all closed because TGI's and Outback killed them. Koreans thought they all were the same.
sad because we used to love to go there when we lived in that part of town.
Whats really funny is last nite we were at On the Border and the Korean manager comes up to us and says he remembered us from that Chilis in Jamshil, he used to be the manager |

Sinchon station, exit 4. Same building as the Coffee Bean. Look up. Way up. If you see a Starbucks, you went too far. |

Sinchon station just past the rotary on the way to Ehwa, 2nd floor opened like 2 weeks ago.
They are planning to open one in Daegu in about 6 months the western managment told us. they have bold plans for korea opening a new one every 6 months or so.
what amazed me was they told me there are over 100 Outbacks in Seoul alone!!!! I knew the Korean Outbacks were the most profitable in the chain but thats nuts |
